Document Assessment
Evaluating the appropriateness of genetic test items and reviewing whether the exemption criteria for external quality assessment and on-site inspection are met. All assessments are based on the current survey form.

On-site Inspection
The planning and operation of a program in which experts visit genetic testing agencies to assess regulatory compliance and testing quality.

External Quality Assessment
The planning and operation of an external quality control program in which samples are sent to a genetic testing agency to evaluate the accuracy of the test.
